Vinyl flooring in Dundee

Pick a range, then a colourway.

James Mackenzie Flooring supplies and fits sheet vinyl in Dundee for kitchens, halls, bathrooms and wet rooms. There is no street showroom: James measures on site and does the fitting himself.

Sheet vinyl (often still called lino) is waterproof, warm underfoot and fitted in one piece wherever the roll is wide enough, so there are no gaps for water to get into. Ranges on this site show thickness, wear layer and slip rating, and most come in 2m, 3m and 4m widths.

Wet rooms and bathrooms need a tidy edge and a sheet that can take a splash. Kitchens need a floor that meets doorways and units cleanly.

Vinyl fitting costs £6.50 per square metre with a £100 minimum. Carpet fitting is £5 per m² (£80 minimum under 16 m²) with free gripper when you buy the carpet from us. Laminate, LVT and carpet tiles are supply only.

Questions

Is vinyl the same as lino?

People often call sheet vinyl lino. True linoleum is a different natural material; the cushioned sheet vinyl fitted in most kitchens and bathrooms today is what is sold and fitted here.

What should I look for in bathroom or kitchen vinyl?

A thicker, cushioned vinyl feels warmer and softer, a thicker wear layer lasts longer in busy rooms, and an R10 slip rating is a good choice for bathrooms. Every range shows these details.
