Underlay for carpet, laminate and wood floors

Pick a range, then a colourway.

Carpet underlay is sold by the roll. If you add it from a carpet page, it is sized from those carpet pieces rather than sold as a guess. Ask James which underlay suits stairs or underfloor heating.

Laying laminate or a wood floor yourself? Over concrete you need an underlay with a damp-proof membrane (DPM). Choose an acoustic underlay for flats and upstairs rooms, a low-tog underlay over underfloor heating, and the herringbone underlay for herringbone laminate. LVT is different: dryback LVT is glued straight to a smoothed floor and rigid click LVT normally has its underlay built in, so these underlays are not for LVT. Ask James if unsure.
