Carpet and vinyl fitting prices
Carpet fitting costs £5 per m² with a £80 minimum for jobs under 16 m², and gripper is free with carpet fitting. Sheet vinyl fitting costs £6.50 per m² with a £100 minimum. The same prices apply across Dundee, Broughty Ferry, Perth, St Andrews and every town on the areas list. James supplies the floor and fits it himself; the site measure is free. Carpet is priced on the size cut from the roll. You choose delivery or fitting only, and no payment is taken online. The carpet ranges he fits are listed under carpet fitting Dundee.

Worked examples (fitting only)
- Bedroom carpet, 12 m²: 12 × £5 = £60, so the £80 minimum applies.
- Living room carpet, 20 m²: 20 × £5 = £100.
- Kitchen vinyl, 8 m²: 8 × £6.50 = £52, so the £100 minimum applies.
- Kitchen and utility vinyl, 18 m²: 18 × £6.50 = £117.
Lifting the old floor and moving furniture are priced on inspection: James quotes them when he measures. Stairs and door trimming: ask James.
